Rakesh Kumar, a 50 year old welder from Uttar Pradesh, searched tirelessly for his wife, Shanti Devi, after she had mysteriously disappeared. The man had been searching for his wife for the past 22 days; however, destiny had other plans for him. Amid his desperate search, he was forced to visit the hospital as his cataract condition had worsened. The Unnao district hospital was where destiny had intended to reunite the couple.

The most fascinating aspect about the interaction is the fact that the husband was blindfolded when he recognized his wife. He was blindfolded after his cataract surgery and found his wife through her voice, which he had not heard for weeks.

The situation unfolded in a manner similar to that of movies. While resting in the hospital, he was startled by the familiar voice of his wife, which he instantly recognized without any doubts. The husband was shocked to find his wife in another ward, where she was being treated as a patient. The unprecedented get-together left the husband overwhelmed with emotions.

However, she failed to recognize her husband, as she had suffered a severe head injury during her time of missing. This did not stop him from loving her. Though it is difficult for him to afford her treatment, he has neither left her side nor stopped being optimistic about her recovery.

She had mysteriously disappeared from his home on January 13, leaving Kumar in distress. His search took him across various cities, including Kanpur, Lucknow, and Kannauj, but yielded no clues about her whereabouts.

Though she is recovering from her head injury, the couple's situation still needs improvement as the family is struggling from financial burden. The husband now hopes for government's financial aid to cover the medical expenses so that his wife can return home healthy and safe.
