Shocking: Drunk Man Exposes himself, pees on a Woman on an Air India Flight from New York to Delhi
An inebriated person in business class on an Air India plane urinated on a female co-passenger and fled without being dealt with on November 26.
The man continued to expose himself after peeing and remained still until another passenger begged him to sit down again.
The woman protested to the staff, saying that her shoes, clothing, and luggage were all covered in urine. She claims that the personnel gave her a pair of pants and slippers and instructed her to go back to her seat because there was nothing else available.
It was reported that the woman spent about 20 minutes standing next to the toilet, as she did not wish to go to her filthy seat again. She was instructed to go to her seat after spending an hour in the cramped crew seat, as per the report.
Even though there were multiple open first-class seats, the female claimed that the Air India employees told her to go back to her original seat, which smelled of urine Finally, after two hours, an unused seat was given to her where she sat the rest of the journey.
The upset woman complained that Air India didn't do anything to help, which prompted her to compose a letter to the Chairman of Tata Group - N Chandrashekaharan to describe her terrible experience.
"The personnel assured me at the end of the journey that they would bring me a wheelchair so I could get through customs as quickly as possible. Moreover, the wheelchair left me in a waiting area, where I had to wait for thirty minutes before someone came and got me. In my Air India pants and socks, I eventually had to collect my luggage and through customs by myself," she spoke.

Air India has filed a case and requested that the egregious passenger be added to the no-fly list weeks after the occurrence.

“An administrative committee is formed to probe into the blunders committed by the Air India personnel and convey any problems that delayed a swift resolution. Throughout the investigation and review purposes, we maintain constant communication with the offended passenger and her family," the representative went on to say.
The event is currently the subject of an investigation by India's aviation regulator. "We have asked the airways to conduct an inquiry, and anybody found accountable will be punished," said the Director General Of Civil Aviation.
The case concerns IPC Section 509 which relates to, "word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman." The punishment could include imprisonment extended up to 3 years and also a fine.
A case of sexual harassment can also be registered under IPC Section 354A.
A similar incident happened in August 2018, when an intoxicated passenger on a flight from New York to Delhi defecated on a female passenger's seat.
