Healthcare technology startup Mykare.ai has raised a total of $3.2 million, including $1 million in its latest funding round, to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform for hospitals and clinics, accelerate product development, and expand its global footprint.

The latest funding round saw participation from Andrew and Alfredo, founders of Papa.com, along with a family office from the Middle East. The company has not disclosed its valuation.

Funding to Advance AI Healthcare Solutions

Founded by Senu Sam, Mykare.ai develops an AI-native healthcare operating system designed to streamline administrative workflows and improve patient engagement. The platform integrates functions such as patient acquisition, appointment scheduling, follow-ups, feedback collection, and customer relationship management (CRM), reducing the need for healthcare providers to manage multiple disconnected software systems.

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be used to enhance its AI capabilities, accelerate product development, and support expansion into global markets.

Addressing Fragmented Healthcare Workflows

Healthcare providers often rely on multiple software platforms to manage appointments, patient communication, administrative work, and customer relationship management. According to Mykare.ai, this fragmented approach increases dependence on manual coordination, adding to the workload of healthcare staff and creating operational inefficiencies that can affect the patient experience.

The company says the challenge is particularly significant for small and medium-sized hospitals and clinics, which it says account for nearly 80% of healthcare facilities in India. According to Mykare.ai, these providers often face shortages of skilled staff, technology limitations, and resource constraints.

The company says administrative teams can spend significant time coordinating appointments, managing follow-ups, responding to patient queries, and updating records instead of supporting patient care. According to Mykare.ai, these inefficiencies may contribute to missed patient opportunities, delayed follow-ups, revenue leakage, and gaps in patient engagement.

The platform integrates functions such as patient acquisition, appointment scheduling, follow-ups, feedback collection, and customer relationship management.

AI Platform Automates the Patient Journey

Mykare.ai says its AI-powered operating system is designed to work across existing healthcare software rather than replace it, providing a unified AI layer for healthcare providers.

According to the company, its AI agents can:

  • Acquire new patients

  • Identify patient intent

  • Answer calls through voice AI

  • Schedule appointments

  • Manage follow-ups

  • Collect patient feedback

  • Automatically update CRM records

The company says automating these routine administrative tasks allows healthcare providers to improve operational efficiency while enabling staff to focus more on patient care.

Founder on Building an AI Operating System for Healthcare

Commenting on the company's vision, Senu Sam, Founder and CEO of Mykare.ai, said:

"The problem we chose to solve is one that many people avoid because it's hard and messy, with disconnected systems. Healthcare providers should focus on patient care, not on managing missed calls, follow-ups and disconnected systems. We're building the AI operating system for healthcare providers, helping them grow faster, improve patient experience and operate more efficiently."

Global Expansion Plans for Mykare.ai

According to the company, the fresh funding will be used to enhance its AI capabilities, accelerate product development, and support global expansion.
