Dr. Nirainila Joseph

I am Nirainila Joseph, a dentist and researcher from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. My academic journey began with schooling in my hometown. I graduated with my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital (TNGDC), Chennai, India. I achieved distinctions in the undergraduate university examinations in five dental specialties Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. Continuing my academic pursuit, I earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Medicine from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. My research interests primarily revolve around dental aerosol strategies utilizing water spray and negative ions. In recognition of my scholarly contributions, I was honored with the Excellent Paper Award (Institute of Oral Medicine) by the College of Medicine, NCKU. I also worked as the Key Person for our team’s project in the NCKU SPARK Taiwan program, a collaborative initiative with Stanford University. I am dedicated to simplifying complex medical information through my medical articles, aimed at educating the public, raising awareness, and empowering individuals to make informed medical decisions.
