Tushali Khanna Reflects on MedBound Times Internship: Growth, Challenges & Gratitude

My journey with MedBound Times began in April 2025. One of my earliest tasks was writing an article on the Dissolution Apparatus, assigned by Himani Negi ma’am. At that time, I spent nearly three days crafting the article, as I was still learning the structure and expectations of medical writing.

Gradually, as I became more familiar with the workflow, I learned how to work on wires, and that’s when things truly began to take shape. During May and June, I focused mainly working on wires, which I genuinely enjoyed far more than working on rehash or original articles.

To date, I have had two original articles published on MedBound Times, and this opportunity has helped me build confidence in my writing and research skills.

I'm sincerely thankful to:

• Himani Negi ma’am, for organizing Zoom sessions on grammar and Wired articles, which helped me build a strong foundation.

• Dr. Theresa Lily ma’am, for her valuable time and guidance on how to work on KFF Wire articles.

• M. Subha Maheswari ma’am, for clearly explaining the process of rehash articles, making it easier to approach them.

This internship has been a wonderful learning experience, and I truly hope to get another opportunity to work with the MedBound Times team again in the future. 💙
