Africa - Uganda to Close Schools Nationwide Due to Ebola Outbreak

According to the Health Ministry of Uganda, 141 Ebola cases and 55 fatalities have been reported so far.

Uganda: Later this month, when 23 Ebola cases among pupils were confirmed, including eight child fatalities, the government announced that all schools across the country would be closed.

According to the Health Ministry of Uganda, 141 Ebola cases and 55 fatalities have been reported so far.

Ebola Virus Disease/ Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a virus that can cause fatal organ failure, severe hemorrhage, and severe bleeding.

The virus can be transmitted from one human to another by contact with body fluids like blood.

Initial symptoms: Chills, fever, and headache.

Internal bleeding that results in blood being vomited or coughed up can later develop in a person.
