Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this esteemed program, prospective candidates must meet certain criteria, which include:
Gender and Marital Status: Only female candidates who are unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed without any encumbrances.
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 17 to 25 years of age as of the course commencement date.
Educational Background: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent qualification in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates is based on a multi-tiered approach:
NEET (UG) Examination: Candidates must qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by the NTA.
Registration and Application: After qualifying NEET, candidates can register on the Join Indian Army website, where they will need to pay an application fee of ₹200.
Shortlisting: A merit list will be prepared based on the NEET scores, followed by a screening process that includes document verification, a General Intelligence test, psychological assessment, and a personal interview.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet the medical fitness standards required for commissioning in the Armed Forces.
